Inventory Control Manager

We are looking for the right candidate to take Inventory Control for our fast-paced production plant to the next level and beyond.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze operation and develop / recommend / implement operational improvements
• Oversee day-to-day Receiving & Inventory operations
• Train and supervise direct reports
• Interact effectively with Production management, Purchasing, and Customer Service to meet Production schedules

Requirements:

• Ability to analyze operations; develop and implement operational improvements
• Must possess strong problem solving, organizational, and hands-on managerial skills
• Proven track record training, mentoring, and building a solid team of direct reports
• Effective professional written and oral communication skills required
• Must interact professionally with all levels of plant/office personnel, vendors, and customers

• Forklift experience mandatory; heavy lifting (up to 100-lbs) may be required at times

Shipping Department Supervisor

Our rapidly growing company is looking for the right candidate to continue the development of a Shipping Department that picks, stages, and loads customer orders.

Requirements:

• Self-starter with strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and function well under pressure
• Must possess skills necessary to build a solid team
• Must be forklift certified
• Must interact professionally (both oral and written) with all levels of plant and office personnel
• Minimum 3 years experience as Shipping or Receiving Supervisor

Must Be Able To:

• Repetitively lift up, move, and stack boxes/bags/drums weighing up to 100 lbs
• Work in an environment that has high levels of spice dust and strong odors
• Work in high humidity (at times), and able to work in hot and cold temperatures (at times)
• Climb/descend stairs unassisted; bend, stoop, twist to operate, adjust, and maneuver machinery.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends (often on short notice).

-Running testing in lab including microbiological & analytical testing

-Supervising other Q.C personnel/lab technicians.

-Supplying technical data to customers

-Performing plant audits and assuring all audit documents are in order and up to date

-Communicating with customers to meet their needs and solve problems

Skills required:

-4 years degree in science related field

-5 plus years experience in Q.C. /lab environment
